Inspired from a visit to Moma's Andy Warhol "Untitled from Flowers" 1970 .
This peice was more an experience than inspiration. Andy Warhol; a legendary pioneer of pop art was a master in printmaking. The choice of color, scale and even the imperfections of alignment symbolized life and culture. My selection of the colors Red and Black not only works strongly in contrast, its initial purpose is to serve as a symbol of tension in todays view of life and culture.
